Yey! Regina writes again!
When the blogosphere wasn’t that active yet, or when it was still fairly new, I would like to believe I was one of the first few who tried it out. I got addicted almost instantly.
I have always loved writing. I used to write fantasy stories, or even book series. I grew up believing I would become a world famous author someday. Of course I grew up and met people who really were good writers. I went to school, had my papers graded, and so I realized I wasn’t perfect. Also, I got distracted. I learned to do other stuff I really enjoyed doing. So I guess I lost focus.
So back to blogging. I really enjoyed it! In fact there was a time that I had four blogs! Mainly because I loved creating one. It was the best part–starting something new. Kind of like when opening a new book. I felt that blogging was good for me when I was in high school because I had a lot of issues. I was an angsty kid. I wrote stuff I couldn’t tell anyone.
Now, I’m 24 years old, employed, taking graduate studies, and in a stable long term relationship. Things have changed, and I’m no longer that angsty. In fact, my life nowadays is pretty much an open book. I have almost nothing to hide to most people.
I have deleted my old blogs, and I have tried blogging again the past years. Of course I lost focus again, but this time, I might be ready to write regularly again.
After all, why not?
